TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF HEAVY FUEL OIL 2023 – TPL

THIKA POWER LIMITED TENDER MARCH 2023 

Thika Power Limited (“TPL”), invites bids (each, a “Bid”) from interested companies (each a “Bidder”), for supply of Heavy Fuel Oil (the “Fuel”) to be delivered to its power plant located at Thika in Kiambu County, along Nairobi Thika Highway, at LR. No. 8380/4.

The Fuel is required to operate five (5) medium speed diesel engine generator sets of 18V48/60 type with a total nominal capacity of 87 MW.The quantity of fuel required is an amount equivalent to 200,000 Metric Tonnes (MT) to be supplied over a period of 24 months whichever comes earlier.

The tender document containing the detailed terms and conditions of the tender may be obtained from TPL through the email: tender@thikapower.co.ke  from 28th  March, 2023.

For the attention of: General Manager – Thika Power Plant and physically deposited at the reception desk of TPL at the above- mentioned address.

All Bid documents received will remain sealed until the time of their opening. Bids will be opened on 28^th  April, 2023 at I205hrs (KenyanTime).at the above-mentioned address in the presence of such Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.

Any Bid received by TPL after the Deadline for submission of Bids will be rejected and returned unopened to the Bidder.
