TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE- 91187503
The Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit [GIZ] GmbH is implementing technical cooperation measures on behalf of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany.
GIZ is inviting bidders to express their interest in the supply of a fully electric vehicle.
Interested bidders MUST meet the following eligibility requirements.
- It must be a legal business entity incorporated in Kenya with at least 3 years operation with a certificate of Incorporation provided as proof. The main business activity of the bidder should be aligned to supply of motor vehicles.
- Must provide up to date Tax Compliance Certificate
- Must attach a copy of the latest CR12 for companies issued by the Registrar of Companies
- Must provide all relevant permits and licences by government authorities [e.g., County Governments, KEBS]
- Must provide an annual turnover of at least KES 25,000,000 in at least 3 years starting from the latest financial year i.e. for year 2021,2022 and 2023/2024. The audited financial statements must be signed and stamped by a certified auditor and the directors.
- Must provide of least 3 reference assignments i.e. proof of supply of motor vehicles of a minimum value of KES 10,000,000.00 per assignment supported by the relevant documents [Purchase order, Invoice etc.]
- Bidder must guarantee that offered models are authorized by the manufacturer for the use in Kenya thus provide manufacturer’s authorization.
Only eligible bidders that meet all the requirements above will receive the further tender documents to proceed with offer submission.
