SUPPLY AND ASSEMBLING OF SMALL AND LARGE R290 MONOBLOCKS- 91188577
The “HCFC phase-out Management plan” [HPMP] is a project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation [BMZ] and co-financed by the French Government [FFEM]. It is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit [GIZ] GmbH through Proklima in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment Climate Change and Forestry.
The HPMP project aims to undertake the Conversion of commercial cold storage facilities that use r22 refrigerant to natural refrigerants [e.g hydrocarbons]. GIZ is thus inviting bidders to express their interest in the importation, supply and assemble R290 monoblocs for the conversion project, in addition, the company will undertake decommissioning of the old systems, assembling of the alternatives and training of the servicing technician responsible for maintaining the systems.
Interested bidders MUST meet the following eligibility requirements.
- Must have a legal business entity incorporated in Kenya with at least 5 years operation. A Certificate of Incorporation to be submitted as proof.
- Must provide a detailed company profile with a clear outline of what the company does.
- Must have an up-to-date Tax Compliance Certificate
- Must attach copies of Identification documents (IDs or Valid Passports] of the owners/Directors of the firms and a copy of the latest CR12 for companies issued by the Registrar of Companies
- Must provide an annual turnover of at least KES10,000,000.00for at least 3 years starting from the latest financial year. Audited financial statements signed by the auditor and the directors to be provided i.e for year 2021,2022 and 2023/2024.
- In the last three years prior to this bid, the company MUST have gained similar experience and must substantiate this with at least 3 reference assignments/projects of at least KES 3,000,000 per assignment. Orders/contracts and delivery confirmation by recipient to be submitted as proof.
- Must provide reference letters for the supplied similar assignments and contact details of referees be shared for any further verification by GIZ. (NB: Consent from the referees to share their information should be provided].
Only eligible bidders that meet all the requirements above will receive the further tender documents to proceed with offer submission.
