INVITATION TO TENDER
SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF LAPTOPS, DESKTOP COMPUTERS, TABLETS AND OTHER ICT ITEMS

- The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) invites sealed tenders for the supply of Supply and Delivery
Of Laptops, Desktop Computers, Tablets and Other ICT Items - Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. - Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more lots.
- Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours [Monday to Friday) 0900 to 1600 hours at the address given below. - A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon
payment of a non- refundable fees of Kshs.1000 (One thousand Kenya shillings) in cash or Banker’s
Cheque and payable to Kenya Bureau of Standards. Tender documents may be obtained electronically
from the Website www.kebs.org. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge. - Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.kebs.org.
Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
info@kebs.org/mwakithij@kebs.org/procurement@kebs.org. to facilitate any further clarification or
addendum. - All Tenders must be accompanied by a “tender Security” in form of bank guarantee from a commercial
bank or Micro finance institution licensed by Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) of Kshs.200,000 (Two
hundred thousand shillings) valid for 212 days from the opening date of tender. - The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
- Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before Tuesday 17
th June 2025 at
10.00am. - Electronic Tender will not be permitted.
- Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead
line date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below. -
Late tenders will be rejected.
