- The Government of Kenya, with support from the World Bank, the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), and the
LEGO Foundation, is implementing the Kenya Primary Education Equity in Learning (KPEEL) Program. The Program
intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payment under the contract for Supply and Delivery of Laptops for Data
Management towards Kenya Education Management Information Systems under Kenya Primary Education Equity
in Learning (KPEEL) Program in the Ministry of Education. - Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as speci
fied in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 and revised in September 2025
(7th Edition) (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Guide
lines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. - Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Head, Supply Chain Management Services,
State Department for Basic Education through ppo@education.go.ke and inspect the bidding documents during
office hours [0800 to 1700 hours] at the address given below. - The bidding document in English may be downloaded from our website. www.education.go.ke
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 28th April 2026 at 11.00 a.m. Electronic Bidding will not
be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated
representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 28th April 2026 at 11.00 a.m - All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of One Million Kenya Shillings Only (Kshs 1,000,000) issued by
a commercial bank regulated by central bank of Kenya. - Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the success
ful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure
