INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDERS FOR THE PROVISION OF COMPREHENSIVE PROPERTY INSURANCE FOR SCHOOL PROPERTY
FOR THE FINANCIAL YEARS 2025–2026.
TENDER NO- GHS/14/2025/2026
1. The GAICHANJIRU HIGH SCHOOL invites sealed tenders for the provision of General
Insurance-Property Insurance Cover for 2024-2025
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a standardized
tender document and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. Tenderers will be
allowed to tender for one or more items.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours (9:00 am to 4:00pm) at the address given below. Tender
documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from the website (PPIP).
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested bidders free of charge.
Tender documents obtained electronically will also be free of charge.”
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded free of charge from the Gaichanjiru
High School website (www.gaichanjiruschool.co.ke ) and the Public Procurement
Information Portal (PPIP) at www.tenders.go.ke Tenderers who download the
documents must immediately register their details by emailing their name, contact
information, and tender reference to:
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of Kshs 200,000 (Kshs Two Hundred
Thousand Only” The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender
documents submitted.
7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on 6th August, 2025. Electronic
Tenders will not be permitted.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above. Tenders
will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who
choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected and returned back at the tenderer’s cost

Completed tender documents must be submitted in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked with the tender name
and reference number and deposited in the tender box at the school or sent to the address above so as to be
received on or before 6th August 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to
attend.
