KENYA RURAL ROADS AUTHORITY TENDER SEPTEMBER 2021 

TENDER NOTICE 

 

UPGRADING, PERIODIC MAINTENANCE, SPOT IMPROVEMENT AND CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS AND DRAINAGE STRUCTURES

The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a state corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act 2007, with the responsibility of management, development, rehabilitation and maintenance of Rural Roads.

The Authority hereby invites bids from eligible Construction Companies on behalf the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, and Housing and Urban Development for the Periodic Maintenance, Spot Improvement and Construction of Roads and Drainage Structures and set to be financed by the Government of Kenya through the Road Maintenance Levy Fund and Development Vote.

Detailed information on the tenders will be available for downloading FREE of CHARGE on the Authority’s Website http://www.kerra.go.ke or PPIP portal: http://www.tenders.go.ke with effect from 9th September 2021.

There will be organised MANDATORY PRE-TENDER Site Visits on 15th September 2021 the details of which are provided in the Authority’s website. Bidders should adhere to COVID -19 protocols during the visits.

The sealed bids MUST be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the Tender Name, Tender Number and be deposited in the respective tender boxes at the offices of the respective Regional Directors on or before Thursday, 23rd September, 2021 at 11.00 A.M. Opening of the bids will take place immediately thereafter.
