PROPOSED LEASE OF 20 TON TIPPER

1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National)
using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to All qualified and interested bidders
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect
the Tender Documents during office hours. 0900 to 1700 hours at the address given below.

3. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenderers
free of Charge at the address given above. Tender documents may be obtained
electronically from the Websites (www.laikipia.go.ke and/or www.tenders.go.ke ).
Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.laikipia.go.ke.and/or www.tenders.go.ke.) Tenderers who download the
tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
(procurement@laikipia.go.ke , 0723-871-712 and P.o Box 131-20321 Rumuruti,
Kenya) to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
5. Tenders must be accompanied by an Original “Tender Security” ofKes.200,000.00 from
a bank Registered in Kenya or from an Insurance Company Approved by PPRA
valid for 210 days from the date of tender opening.
6. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 1200 Hrs.
Electronic Tenders will NOT be permitted.
- Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above
or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the
presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below. - Late tenders will be rejected.
The bidders are notified that 0.03% Capacity Building Levy [The Levy Order
2023] applicable to all contracts pursuant to PPRA Circular No. 01/2024. [ This
provides for allocation of 0.03% of the value of signed contracts exclusive of taxes] -
