INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF STAFF PENSION SCHEME SERVICES THROUGH AN UMBRELLA ARRANGEMENT
TENDER NO. NKPCU/ITT/073/2024/2025
1. The New Kenya Planters Cooperative Union PLC invites sealed tenders for provision of staff pension
scheme services through an umbrella arrangement for a period of three years.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours [0900 to 1500 hours] at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon
payment of a non- refundable fees of KES. 1000.00 in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to
the address given below.
5. Interested parties may obtain the Tender Documents at no cost by downloading them from
https://www.newkpcuplc.go.ke or the Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) at
https://www.tenders.go.ke. To facilitate the dissemination of any subsequent clarifications or addenda,
applicants who download the documents are required to promptly provide their contact information to
procurement@newkpcuplc.go.ke
6. Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and delivery must be in Kenya Shillings and shall remain
valid for Ninety-One (91) days from the closing date of the tender.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Kenya Shillings Three Hundred Thousand Only
(KES. 300,000) from a reputable Financial Institution in Kenya valid for 30 days beyond the Tender
Validity period.
9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 12.00 P.M. on Thursday,
26th June 2025. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
