The Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) is a humanitarian relief organization created by an Act of Parliament, Cap
256 of the Laws of Kenya on 21st December 1965. Its vision is to be the most effective, trusted, and self-sustaining
humanitarian organization in Kenya. Kenya Red cross society is implementing WASH project in Lamu County
under the “Sustainable Management and Access to Water and Sanitation in Asals”. The project is financed by the
Water Sector Trust Fund (WaterFund) through the Royal Embassy of Denmark and co-financed by the County
Government of Lamu.
