TENDER FOR SUPPLY DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF DN 15 COLA WATER METERS

EMBU WATER AND SANITATION COMPANY LIMITED TENDER SEPTEMBER 2025 

1. The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Water and Sanitation Development Project-Conditional Liquidity Support Grant [CLSG] II. It intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Supply, Delivery, and Installation of DN15 cold-water meters in Lot No. 1 (single jet] and the Supply, Delivery, and Installation of DN 15 cold-water Meters in Lot No. 2(Multi jet] as contract No.: EWASCO/CLSG 2/01/2025-2026
2. The Embu Water and Sanitation Company Limited invites sealed Bids from eligible Supply and Delivery of the Goods indicated on the table below;

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement [open tender] using a Request for Bids [RFB] as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised S01 Edition September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), which can be found in the following website: www.worldbank.org/procurement  and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Embu Water and Sanitation Company Ltd. Off Embu Meru Road. Embu Town Next to The Kenya National Library and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1700, excluding weekends and public holidays at Embu Water and Sanitation Company Ltd. P.0 box 2142-60100 Embu.
5. The bidding document in English may be downloaded free of charge from the Company’s website www.embuwater.co.ke . Bidders who download the bidding documents are required to notify the Purchaser by email with full contact details that they intend to participate, this will facilitate issuance of notifications by the Purchaser, to all bidders where necessary.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 16th SEPTEMBER 2025. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, the address is as below.

7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security In the form of a Bank Guarantee from a locally recognized bank.
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
