PROVISION OF UNDERWRITING SERVICES WIBA AND LIFE INSURANCE 2026

The Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a federal enterprise with worldwide operations. We support the German Government in the field of international co­operation for sustainable development. We are also engaged in international education activities around the globe. Through our work we assist people and societies in shaping their own future and improving living conditions.

GIZ has been a long-standing partner of the Kenyan government since 1975, focusing on various sectors including agriculture, food security, sustainable economic development, good governance, energy, transport, climate change, and migration. Our projects are designed to support capacity development and enhance Kenyan livelihoods through their own efforts.

GIZ shall provide a schedule of earnings to the winning bidder for the purpose of this cover.

This cover is for all GIZ Kenya national staff (currently 375). The number is however expected to fluctuate across the year. The cover shall be for the whole year January to December, 24 hours a day. However, where there is a shorter employment period, the cover shall be prorated accordingly. The age bracket is 18 – 60 years.

Objectives, indicators, work packages, milestones

The objective of this tender is provision of a Group Life Assurance Policy for its National Personnel and Group Personal Accident/Work Injury Benefit Act (WIBA) Insurance Cover for its National Per­sonnel for GIZ in Kenya.

Deadline for Submission: 19.09.2025 (East African time).
