INVITATION TO TENDER

FOR PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF A CONFERENCE HALLS
COMPLEX FOR THE COUNTY ASSEMBLY

1. The Nyandarua County Assembly invites sealed tenders for the Proposed construction and
   completion of a Conference halls Complex for the County Assembly Tendering will be
   conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender document. Tendering
   is open to all eligible, qualified and interested Tenderers.
2. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the county Assembly‟s website
   www.nyandaruaassembly.go.ke or through the Public Procurement Information Portal
   www.supplier.treasury.go.ke/www.tenders.go.ke
3. Tenderers who download the tender document and intend to submit a bid must forward their
   particulars immediately to Principal Procurement Officer, Nyandarua County or through the
   email info@nyandaruaassembly.go.ke or through procurement@nyandaruaassembly.go.ke for
   any further clarification or addendum.
4. Prices quoted should be inclusive of all taxes including procurement capacity building levy of
   0.03% of the tender sum and service delivery costs, must be expressed in Kenya shillings and
   will remain valid for 150 days from date of tender opening
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by an original tender security (Bid bond) amounting to Kenya
   Shillings Three million only (Ksh 3,000,000.00) valid for thirty (30) days beyond the validity date of the
   tender (i.e. 180 days). The bid bond should be in form of:.
   i A bank guarantee; or
   ii . A guarantee by an insurance company registered and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory
   Authority listed by the Authority; or
   iii A guarantee issued by a financial institution approved and licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya
   5.Completed tender must be submitted electronically on the IFMIS platform on or before 17th
   November 2025 at 11.00 A.M. The tenders must be uploaded in the IFMIS Portal
6. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified in the tender
   advertisement notice or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be opened
   electronically on the IFMIS platform.

7. Late tenders will be rejected.
