INVITATION TO TENDER
Lake Victoria South Water Works Development Agency “the Agency” has received financing from the Government of Kenya through
the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation intends to apply part of the proceeds of these funds towards the cost for
implementation of the following draught mitigation works. The Agency now invites eligible bidders to submit sealed tenders to bid for
the below listed works project.

- Tendering is open to all qualified, eligible firms, holding a valid National Construction Authority (NCA) registration of
Class 2 and above under the Water Works and Electromechanical categories, as specified in the schedule above. - Tender documents shall be obtained electronically from the Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP)
www.tenders.go.ke and the LVSWWDA Website(s) https://www.lvswwda.go.ke/tender/. Tender documents
obtained electronically will be free of charge. - Tender documents shall be viewed and downloaded for free from the Agency’s website http://lvswwda.go.ke or
the Public Procurement Information Portal website www.tenders.go.ke. - Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to: info@lvswwda.go.ke
and procurement@lvswwda.go.ke to facilitate any further clarifications or addenda and for record purpose. - All Tenders shall be submitted together with the applicable bid security amount as specified in the schedule and in
the standard format provided in the Tender Document. - Complete tenders in plain sealed envelope with clearly marked tender number and tender name should be
deposited in the tender box at the Agency’s procurement office in Kisumu or delivered to the address below on or
before 28TH January, 2026 at 10.00am. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted. - Tenders shall be opened immediately after the date and time specified above or any date and time specified later.
Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the tenderers designated representatives who choose to attend
at the address below. - Late Bids will be rejected.
