INVITATION TO TENDER
TWO YEARS FRAMEWORK CONTRACT FOR LEASE OF HIGH VOLUME PRINTING SERVICES
TENDER (ITT) No. KR/SCM/FRC/004/2025-2026
1. Kenya Railways invites sealed tenders for the Two years framework contract for lease of high -volume printing services
2. Tendering will be conducted under restricted tendering using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all eligible, qualified and interested Tenderers. .
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect
the Tender Documents during office hours from 0900 hrs to 1600 hrs at The
General Manager – Supply Chain Management office on ground floor block C
Kenya Railways or from www.krc.co.ke or ppip@ppra.go.ke and www.tenders.go.ke.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.krc.co.ke , www.ppip.go.ke . Tenderers who download the tender document
must forward their particulars immediately to procure@krc.co.ke to facilitate any
further clarification or addendum.
5. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender
documents submitted (in the format 1, 2, 3, 4 …….to the last page) and
indicate total number of pages on the cover page
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Guarantee of Kenya Shillings
Sixty-Nine Thousand Kshs 69,000.00 from an insurance company
registered and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority and listed
by the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority or a Bank Guarantee
from a Registered Commercial Bank in Kenya valid for 210 days from the
date of tender opening. Verification may be carried out to ascertain
authenticity of the document.
7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before
16th March, 2026 at 2.00PM. Electronic Tenders shall not be permitted.
- Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time
specified above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will
be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ design at ed
representatives who choose to attend at the address below. - Late tenders will be rejected.
