COUNTY ASSEMBLY OF LAMU TENDER APRIL 2026 

INVITATION TO TENDER 
PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF THE ASSEMBLY CAR PARKING SHEDS 
The County Assembly of Lamu invites sealed tenders for the PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF THE ASSEMBLY CAR PARKING SHEDS
1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method national using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours 0900 to 1500 hours at the address given below.
3. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Websites www.lamuassembly.go.ke and
www.tenders.go.keTender documents obtained electronically will befree of charge.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.lamuassembly.go.ke and
www.tenders.go.ke . Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately
to lamuassembly@gmail.com to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
5. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 120 days
from the date of opening of tenders.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a “tender Security” of Kshs. 200,000.00. from a bank recognized by the
Central Bank of Kenya.
7. Completed tenders must be submitted on the IFMIS SYSTEM on or before 29th April, 2026 at 11:00am.
MANUAL SUBMISSION of Tenders WILL NOT be PERMITTED.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately on the IFMIS system after the deadline date and time specified above or
any deadline date and time specified later.
9. Late tenders will be rejected. The IFMIS System will automatically lock out at the time and date of tender
closing.
