Background
The project “Promotion of Climate-Friendly Cooking: Kenya and Senegal” (GCF/EnDev), implemented by GIZ, Ministry of Energy and other implementing partners, commenced in March 2020 and will run until December 2024. The project objective is to accelerate the growth of the Improved Cookstoves [ICS] sector with an irreversible market transformation that will significantly increase the level of ICS production and sales, thereby enabling Kenya to significantly advance the achievement of Kenya climate goals relating to cooking energy.
The project supports ICS market development focusing on supply side [professionalisation, mechanisation, quality assurance and business development support, access to finance and distribution channels], demand side (awareness creation and behavioural change communication/campaigns] and facilitating a supportive enabling environment.
The project will implement a roadshow marketing campaign to stimulate demand of ICS at the community level leading to an increase in the sales and adoption of ICS by households. In this regard, GIZ is seeking a service provider to implement the marketing campaign within selected counties in Kenya.
Call for bids from potential suppliers/companies
GIZ is calling for suitable suppliers/companies to tender their bids for provision of roadshow marketing campaign services. The roadshows will be conducted in 2 lots i.e., Lot 1: Central and Lower Eastern clusters; Lot 2: Lake Victoria and Western clusters. In this regard, GIZ is seeking service providers for each lot to implement roadshow marketing campaigns within selected counties per lot.
Interested companies must provide verifiable proof of qualifications and experience. The firm is requested to review the indicated qualifications in Terms of Reference [ToRs].
