CONSULTANCY ON CONCEPTUALISATION, PRODUCTION AND PROMOTION OF

“Agripreneurship Tools and Edutainment Campaign”

The Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH implements the initiative Agri-Jobs 4 Youth commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The initiative’s objective is to increase qualification, income and employment opportunities in the agri-food sector in Western Kenya with a special focus on youth and women.

Particularly in the agri-food sector young job-seekers, under employed youth and young entrepreneurs, are looking for support in getting their businesses started. Agri-Jobs 4 Youth’s effort to promote rural youth employment in Western Kenya through the integrated approach to employment promotions includes equipping the target groups with the right tools to plan their business (budgeting tools and light take- home incubation model) as well as addressing the negative perceptions of the agricultural sector.

Consultancy firms or Media companies interested to support this component should have a team with academic backgrounds in agriculture, media production and communication, professional experience in content creation, media production and editing (TV/Video), design thinking and product design. Prior experience in Development Cooperation will be an asset. Interested Consultancy firms or Media companies must provide verifiable proof of qualifications and experience in similar/related services. The tenderer is also requested to provide a summary assessment of the team proposed and must specify their positions, tasks and qualifications for each expert. More details are provided In the Terms of Reference (ToR).

An email response will provide the ToRs and relevant tender documents with further information on 10.10.2022, thereafter no tender documents will be shared.
