INVITATION TO TENDER-CALL FOR OFFERS

The Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) is implementing technical cooperation measures on behalf of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Better Migration Management II (BMM /III) programme supports national authorities in facilitating safe, orderly and regular migration and in addressing human trafficking and smuggling of migrants within and from the Horn of Africa. The project is co-funded by the ^ German Government and the European Union from October 2019 to September 2022.

SHORT-TERM CONSULTANCY REGIONAL TRAINING ON MEDIA & ANTI-HUMAN TRAFFICKING (Tender Ref. 83381447)

The consultancy will develop and implement online training for CSOs in partner countries on the role of the media in anti-human trafficking. The training will cover: Social and classic media; writing press statements, impact stories and media briefs; ethical use of photos; writing ethical testimonials and media stories; interview guidance. The objective of the training is to enable regional CSOs to constructively work with media and to contribute to ethical reporting on human trafficking.

SHORT-TERM CONSULTANCY

REGIONAL TRAINING ON ADVOCACY & LOBBYING (Tender Ref. 83381446)

The consultancy will develop and implement online training for CSOs in identified partner countries on Advocacy & Lobbying work on anti-human trafficking. The training will cover: Difference between advocacy & lobbying; Defining expected outcomes and targets for advocacy; Strategies for successful lobbying & advocacy; Relationship building with political stakeholders; Ethics & risks. The objective of the training is to build CSO capacity to successfully advo­cate and lobby in the field of anti-human trafficking.

Both consultancies require extensive specialist expertise in the relevant field, training experience and experience working with civil society. Follow instructions to receive full tender documents.
