INVITATION TO TENDER
DISPOSAL OF ASSORTTED UNSERVICEABLE AND OBSOLETE ITEMS
TENDER NO: KNH/T/D/02/2025-2026
1. The Kenyatta National Hospital now invites sealed tenders from eligible candidates to Purchase DISPOSAL OF
ASSORTTED UNSERVICEABLE AND OBSOLETE ITEMS
2. Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information at the address provided below. Items will be sold as
they are, without any encumbrances.
3. Interested tenderers may inspect the goods to be sold on 3RD FEBRUARY, 2026 from 10.00 Am- 12.00 P.M. at the
address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates upon payment of nonrefundable fees of Kshs. 1000. 00 via Mpesa through paybill No. that will be provided at KNH Finance
Department – Accounts Receivable section or shall not charge a fee where Disposal document is
obtained electronically.
5. Tenderers will be required to pay in advance a refundable deposit as indicated in the Appendix to
Instructionsto tenderers, amounting to Ksh. 5,000.00 payable via Mpesa through paybill No. that will be
provided at KNH Finance Department – Accounts Receivable section located at KNH Administration
Block.
6. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 5TH FEBRUARY, 2026
at 10.00a.m. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
7. Prices quoted should be net, must be in Kenya Shillings and shall remain valid for 149 days
from the closing date of the tender.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time
specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who
choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
10. There shall be paid a levy by supplier on all procurement contracts signed between the supplier and the
hospital at the rate of zero-point zero three percent (0.03%) of the value of the signed contract, exclusive of
applicable taxes.
