INVITATION TO TENDER
DRILLING OF BOREHOLE AT CBKL HEAD OFFICE
TENDER NO: CBKL/RT/003/2025 
1. Consolidated Bank of Kenya Limited (CBKL) is a tier III commercial Bank with over 34 years’ experience in
the Banking industry offering a wide range of financial solutions. The Bank is licensed andregulated by the
Central Bank of Kenya (CBK). In line with the stated motto of “growing with you”, theBank endeavors to

2. Consolidated Bank is fully owned by the Government of Kenya with the majority shareholding (93.4%) held by
the National Treasury. The remaining shareholding is spread over twenty-six (26) parastatals and other
government related/controlled organizations.
3. Based on the foregoing, the Bank would like to appoint a contractor for the drilling of borehole at CBKL
Head Office .Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in a plain sealed envelope, marked with the
tender number and name and be deposited in the tender box located at the reception area of Consolidated
Bank House – 6th floor, Koinange Street.
4. Tendering will be conducted under Restricted Tendering method of procurement using a standardized
tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested tenderers. In case tender is subject to
multiple contracts/lots, insert “tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more lots”.
5. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the tender documents during
office hours 0815 to 1700 hours at the address given below or email through procurement@consolidatedbank.com
6. A complete set of tender documents shall be obtained electronically free of charge from the Bank’s website
www.consolidated-bank .com
7. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.consolidated-Bank
.com. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
Consolidated Bank of Kenya Limited (CBKL); P.O. Box 51133 – 00200; Tel: 0703016000/100; Nairobi,
Kenya; procurement@consolidated-bank.com to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by tender security value of KES 50,000 (Fifty thousand only) or tendersecuring declaration valid for a period of 175 days (One hundred and seventy five days from the date of
tender opening in form of a Bank guarantee from a reputable Bank recognized by the Central Bank of Kenya or
an insurance firm recognized by PPRA payable to the Consolidated Bank of Kenya Ltd.
9. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted. Completed tenders must
be delivered to the address below on or before 10.30 AM on 25th August, 2025. Electronic Tenders will not be
permitted.

1. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline dateand
   time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
   representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late tenders will be rejected.
