INVITATION TO TENDER
FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT FOR PROVISION OF HOTEL ACCOMMODATION AND CONFERENCE FACILITIES FOR A PERIOD OF TWO (2) YEARS
TENDER NO.: MITI/SDT/OT/FA/004/2024-2025
- The Government of the Republic of Kenya through the Ministry of Investments, Trade
and Industry, State Department for Trade (SDT) invites sealed tenders from eligible
candidates (OPEN) for the provision of hotel, accommodation and conference facilities
on framework agreement for a period of two (2) years. - Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) from suppliers
using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested
Tenderers. Tenders will be awarded on the basis of the Framework Agreement. - The number of Suppliers for the Framework Agreement shall be a minimum of Seven (7)
alternative vendors which shall be engaged through call-off agreements. - The State Department for Trade (SDT) will apply to call-offs contracts under the
Framework Agreement and engage the firms as required - The Framework Agreement is a closed panel, and the constitution of the panel shall
remain unchanged during the term of the Framework Agreement (FA) (other than firms
being removed from the panel, no additional or replacement firms may be added. - There is no guarantee of being awarded a call-off agreement and no commitment will be
made with regard to possible volume of Goods. - The State Department for Trade (SDT) shall use purchase order as a contractual method
to secure the call off contract. - Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours between (8:00a.m -5: 00p.m) hours at the address given below. - Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.trade.go.ke and PPIP Portal at www.tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who download the
tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
proc.statedepartmentoftrade@gmail.com to facilitate any further clarification or addendum. -
Completed tender documents must be delivered and dropped at the tender box located at
the Telposta Towers, 17th Floor and bulk tenders, should be registered at the reception of
the Head, Supply Chain Management Services’ office, also within the Telposta Towers,
17th Floor on or before Wednesday 12th JUNE 2025 at 10.00 A.M. (East African Time). -
The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
By using the following format 1,2,3,4……. Any other format used other than one
specified will lead to automatic disqualification. -
Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or
any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the
presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below. - Late tenders will be rejected.
