PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR LEASING OF OFFICE SPACE FOR GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS FOR THE FINANCIAL YEARS
2023/2024 AND 2024/25
1. The State Department for Housing and Urban Development under the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing &
Urban Development is mandated with leasing of office accommodation for Government Ministries, Departments and
Agencies (MDAs). Pursuant to this mandate, the department intends to lease office space for Government Institutions
in Nairobi County.
2. The State Department hereby invites eligible property owners or their authorized agents for the leasing of office space
in Westlands, the Central Business District (CBD), Community/Upper Hill, Hurlingham, Kilimani and Milimani areas to
express their interest in providing office space.
3. Interested bidders may access the tender documents from the State Department’s website www.housingandurban.
go.ke. Bidders who download the tender documents from the website are required to provide their details by registering
at the Office of Head, Supply Chain Management Services, located on 6th floor Ardhi House, 1st Ngong Avenue,
during normal working hours. All enquiries and clarifications should be sent via email to: procurement@housingandurban.
go.ke
4. Completed Tender documents enclosed in plain sealed envelopes and clearly marked with the Tender Number and
Tender Description shall be delivered to the address below and/or be deposited in the Tender Box located on the 6th
Floor, Ardhi House, 1st Ngong Avenue so as to be received on or before 4th March, 2024 at 9:00am. Bulky documents
shall be delivered and Registered at the Office of the Head, Supply Chain Management Services Ardhi House 6th Floor,
Wing B.
5. Tenders will be opened immediately after closing at State Department for Housing and Urban Development Boardroom,
located on the 6th floor Boardroom Wing ‘B’, Ardhi House 1st Ngong Avenue in the presence of tenderers or their
representatives who choose to attend.
6. Clarifications and addendums related to this notice shall be posted in the State Department’s website
www.housingandurban.go.ke
7. The Procuring Entity reserves the right to cancel or terminate procurement proceedings at any time before the tender
is awarded. Late tenders shall be rejected.
