INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR MAINTENANCE OF DATA CENTRE UPS AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
TENDER NO. KNBS/ONT/10/2025-2026
3. The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) invites sealed tenders for the preventive maintenance of
Data center UPS and air conditioning system
4. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
5. Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more items as per the schedule of requirements.
6. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours 0900 to 1500 hours at the address given below.
7. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon
payment of a non- refundable fees of KES1,000.00 in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to
the address given below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s)
https://www.tenders.go.ke or www.knbs.or.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
8. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
https://www.tenders.go.ke or www.knbs.or.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document
must forward their particulars immediately to procurement@knbs.or.ke to facilitate any further
clarification or addendum.
9. All Tenders must be accompanied by a KES 80,000.00 tender security valid for 126 days from
28th April 2025 in the form of Bank Guarantee, Bankers Cheque or Insurance guarantee from
approved list of Insurance companies by Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA)
10. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
11. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 10.00 am on 28th April, 2026
12. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
13. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
dead line date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
14. Late tenders will be rejected.
