INVITATION TO BID

FCA is launching a “Local Open Tender” and invites written proposals from reputable institutions to:

Train 50 incentive Primary School Teachers in Diploma in Education (primary option) in Kalobeyei Integrated Settlement and Kakuma refugee Camps in Turkana West sub-county, Turkana County.

FCA places great emphasis on ensuring that the objectives of the work assignment, as described in the Terms of Reference, are met. Accordingly, in evaluating the proposals for the assignment, attention will focus first and foremost on the technical elements. From those proposals deemed suitable in terms of the criteria in the Terms of Reference, FCA shall select the proposal that offers the Organization best value for money.

Bidding will be conducted through an open tender procedure.

Your written proposal should comprise:

  1. a)A Technical Proposal consisting of:
  • An up to date institution profile to reflect the required skills, experiences and qualification;
  • An approach and methodology for the assignment to reflect a feasible and sound methodology and show how quality control, prompt delivery of services and internal technical and quality assurance review mechanism for the works will be achieved,
  • A work plan with specific treatment of key deliverables and priorities to indicate the necessary timeframe for the completion of the deliverables;
  • Clearly state mode of learning in relation to Covid-19 situation.
  1. b)The amount to be charged for the assignment [budget]. The prices must be quoted in KES only inclusive of VAT. Also state amount to be charged per learner and what cost will be incurred in case of travel to the field in regards to teaching practice.

All proposals, in English only, must be submitted as one fully scanned document (both the tender dossier and supporting documents] online through E-mail: Keco.procurement@kua.fi with the tender reference number as the subject line of the mail: by 2359 hrs Kenyan time on 16/07/2021. Late proposals will be rejected.

Applicants with enquiries regarding these tenders should send them in writing via Email  Keco.Procurement@kua.fi up to 12/07/2021 by 1700hrs.

Tenders will be opened at the address mentioned below at the time stated in the tender dossier. Due to COVID19 restrictions, tender opening will take place on 20/07/2021 at 10.00 am through zoom (Please share the company representative’s email where the link will be sent].

To enable you prepare a proposal for this assignment, Terms of Reference [TOR] documents will be available from 8/07/2021 at 0800hrs to 16/07/2021 by 1700hrs. Interested Bidders may obtain a complete set of bidding documents in English at no cost from the contact mentioned below.
