INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF THE IEBC OFFICEBLOCK, WAREHOUSE,TOILET,FENCINGANDLANDSCAPING

1. Independent, Electoral and Boundaries Commission(IEBC) invites sealed tenders for the :
Proposed Construction of Office block, Warehouse, Toilet, Fencing and Landscaping at the
IEBC Site plot NYA/C160/2019/01 at Olkalou Nyandarua County
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is reserved for qualified and interested Tenderers within Nyandarua County
who are registered with the National Construction Authority (NCA) in class 6 and above for
building Works. Tenderers qualifications are as set out in the TDS and the Evaluation
Criteria
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
from the IEBC Nyandarua County Office during office hours 0800-1300hours and 1400 – 1700 hours
Local Time at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be downloaded by interested tenders FREE OF CHARGE from the
Website(s) www.iebc.or.ke or the Public Procurement Information Portal (www.tenders.go.ke ).
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.iebc.or.ke or
www.tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission – Nyandarua County, P.O.675-20109 Olkalou, Kenya to
facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for
210 days from the date of opening of tenders.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security equivalent to Ksh. 300,000/- valid for 210 days from date of
opening the tender in the form of either: -Electronic Money transfer , a BANK Guarantee from a reputable
bank, a guarantee byan insurance company registered and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory
Authority listed by the PPRA or a guarantee issued by a financial institution approved and licensed by
the Central Bank of Kenya. All payable to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission –
Nyandarua County.
8. The Tenderers shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
9. Completed tenders MUST be submitted as One (1 No.) original and a (1 No.) copy delivered to the address below on or
before 16th January 2026 at 1200 hours
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time
specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose
to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
