INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED WORK FOR KWA MCARTER – MUKOTHIMA BRIDGE

1. The County Government of Tharaka Nithi invites eligible candidates for tenders for the proposed work for kwa
mcarter – mukothima bridge. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours
Supply chain Management Offices, Kathwana during normal office working hours.
3. Interested eligible candidates may download a complete set of tender documents with evaluation criteria from
the county website: www.tharakanithi.go.ke or IFMIS Supplier Portal: http://supplier.treasury.go.ke OR procurement
portal www.tenders.go.ke using the unique IFMIS Negotiation Number indicated in the tender advert
4. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for (120) days from
the date of opening of tenders.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by Ksh 540,000/- bid security inform of a Bank guarantee, cash OR a guarantee by
an insurance company registered and licensed by the insurance Regulatory Authority listed by the Authority.
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
7. Completed Soft tender documents MUST be delivered through IFMIS Suppliers Portal (http://supplier.treasury.go.ke)
on or before 30th October, 2025 11.00 Am and Original and a copy of tender document MUST be manually delivered
on or before 30th October, 2025 11.00 Am.to the tender Box Headquarters, Kathwana as per the requirements contained
in the document so as to be received on or before the date and time indicated.
- Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Kathwana Roads, Transport,
Infrastructure, Public Works, Housing, Urban Development and Ict offices, Late tenders will be
rejected -
