INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF GROUP LIFE INSUARANCE COVER FOR COMMISSIONER’S AND STAFF
TENDER NO. NLC /ONT/HRM/01/2025-2026
1. The NATIONAL LAND COMMISSION invites sealed tenders for the Provision of Group Life
Insurance Cover Tender No. NLC/ONT/HRM/01/2025-2026 for Commissioner’s and staff for a period
of Twelve Months (12) with an option of renewal of an additional twelve (12) months subject to
satisfactory performance.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a standardized tender
document and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 0800 to 1600 hour at 19th Floor 316 Upper Hill Chambers 2nd Ngong Avenue.
Tender documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from the website www.landcommission.go.ke
4. A complete set of tender documents may be downloaded from the NLC website free of charge.
5. Tender document may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.landcommisison.go.ke .Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their
particulars immediately to tender@landcommission.go.ke Tel: 2718050, P.O. Box 44417-00100.
Nairobi to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kenya Shillings One Hundred thousand (KES 100,000)
in form of a Bank Guarantee from a reputable Bank regulated by CBK or an Insurance Company approved
by the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) payable to Secretary/CEO, National Land Commission.
7. Prices quoted shall be net inclusive of all taxes and training costs, must be in Kenya Shillings and shall
remain valid for 365 Calendar days from the closing date of tender Submission.
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted from page
One (1) to the last page including all documentary attachments in the format of 1 of 500, 2 of 500, 3 of 500 etc.
9. Complete tenders must be delivered to National Land Commission – 316 Upper Hill Chambers, 2nd
Ngong Avenue and be deposited in the Tender Box Located at the 19th Floor or Hand Delivered to the
Supply Chain Management office located at 19th Floor Door Number. 21 on or before Friday 23rd May, 2025 at 11.00 am.
10. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before Friday 23rd May, 2025 at 11.00 am.
11. . Electronic Tenders WILL NOT be permitted.
- Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below. - LATE TENDERS WILL BE REJECTED

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the Tenderers representatives who

Ngong Avenue, Nairobi. Late bids will be rejected.
