INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER FOR MEMBERS OF THE JUDICIARY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA

The Judiciary of Kenya invites sealed bids from eligible Medical Insurance
Providers (MIPs) for the Provision of Outpatient and Inpatient Medical
Insurance Cover for members of the Judiciary. The outpatient medical cover
will be a fund managed by the MIPs who will work jointly with an Underwriter
of their choice for the Provision of the Inpatient Medical Cover. The medical
insurance cover is for a period of three (3) years renewable annually
subject to satisfactory performance.
Eligible bidders may view and obtain the tender document by downloading from
the Judiciary’s website: www.judiciary.go.ke or from the Public Procurement
information Portal (PPIP) website: www.tenders.go.ke. All the Clarifications
and addenda will be posted on the Judiciary Website and the Public
Procurement information Portal (PPIP) website: Any request for clarifications
must be made in writing at least three (3) days to the closing date of the tender.
Prices quoted shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes
including public Procurement Capacity Building Levy and shall remain
valid for One Hundred and twenty (120) days from the tender closing date.
Tenders must be accompanied with a tender security of Kenya Shillings Ten
Million Shillings Only (Kshs. 10,000,000.00) valid for One Hundred and Fifty
(150) days from tender closing date in the form of a guarantee issued by a
financial institution approved and licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK)

or by an Insurance Company registered and licensed by the Insurance

Regulatory Authority (IRA) Addressed and payable to the Chief Registrar
of the Judiciary.
Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in a plain sealed envelope,
clearly marked with the respective tender numbers and description to be
deposited in the Tender Box located at the Main Gate of the Supreme Court
Building Entrance, City Hall Way, Nairobi or be addressed and posted to:

to be received on or before 18th September, 2025 at 10:00am.
Tenders will be opened immediately in presence of bidder representatives at
the Boardroom located at the 2nd floor, Room 74 at Supreme Court Building or
as may be advised.
Late tenders shall be rejected.
