INVITATION TO TENDER 
PROVISION OF SANITARY COLLECTION & DISPOSAL SERVICES 

TENDER NO: MMU/OT/SD/02/2022-2023  

1. The Multimedia University of Kenya invites sealed tenders for the Provision of Sanitary Collection and Disposal Services at the University Main Campus for a period of two (2) years subject to satisfactory performance in the first year.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method [National Open Tender] using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. at the address given below. Tender documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from the website: www.mmu.ac.ke or http://www.tenders.go.ke. More details on the Services are provided in PART 2 – Services’ Requirements, Section V – Description of Services of the Tender Document.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a non- refundable fees of KES1,000 in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website: www.mmu.ac.ke or http://www.tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to Procurement Department, Multimedia University of Kenya, P.O. Box 15653 – 00503, Nairobi; procurement@mmu.ac.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Bidders will be required to fill the Tender Declaration Form in the prescribed format.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before Friday 15th July, 2022 at 10.30 am.
9. No Electronic Tenders. Late tenders will not be permitted.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
