INVITATION TO TENDER 
PROVISION OF STAFF MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2022-2023 

TENDER NO. TARDA/OT/030/2022-2023

1. TARDA invites sealed tenders for the provision of staff medical Insurance cover for a
period of one (1) year renewable once upon satisfactory performance.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open national tender method using a standardized tender
document.
3. Kindly provide the procuring entity with three (3) options as requested for under part II
schedule of insurance requirements, Section V under financial quotation proposal.
4. Tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office
hours 0900 to 1600 hours at the address given below. Tender documents may be viewed
and/or downloaded from our website www.tarda.go.ke or at the Public Procurement
Information Portal (PPIP) www.tenders.go.ke free of charge.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of Ksh 300,000 (Kenya Shillings
Three Hundred Thousand Nil Cents)
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 2nd November 2022
at 10:00 am. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
