NATIONAL TRANSPORT AND SAFETY AUTHORITY (NTSA) TENDER AUGUST 2022 

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DESIGN, IMPLEMENTATION AND SETTING UP OF A MODEL AUTOMATED DRIVER TESTING SOLUTION IN KENYA

TENDER NO. NTSA/EOI-001/2022-2023                           

1. The Government of Kenya has received a grant from the European Union (EU) towards the Support of Kenya Energy and Transport Project (SKETS) under the Safe Roads/ Usalama Barabarani Programme and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Grant for procurement and payments Design, Implementation and Setting up of a Model Automated Driver Testing Solution in
2. The National Transport and Safety Authority intends to apply part of the proceeds to Consulting services for the Provision of Consultancy Services for Design, Implementation and Setting up of a Model Automated Driver Testing Solution in Kenya Reference NTSA/EOI-001/2022-2023.
3. The detailed Expression of Interest (EOI) document plus the shortlisting criteria for the assignment is available for download on http://www.ntsa.go.ke or at Public Procurement Information Portal http://tenders.go.ke.
4. The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Key Experts will not be evaluated at the shortlisting stage.
5. Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications but should indicate clearly whether the as- sociation is in the form of a joint venture and/or a sub-consultancy. In the case of a joint venture, all the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if

Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form in person on or before 14th September 2022 at 00 a.m. (Local Time) at the Tender box located on the 8thFloor of 316 Upper Hill Chambers building, National Transport and Safe- ty Authority Headquarters, 2nd Ngong Avenue, Nairobi. Electronic submissions SHALL NOT be accepted.

Completed documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with reference number and description and be deposited in the Tender Box on 8th Floor, National Transport and Safety Authority’s Headquarters, located at 316 Upper Hill Chambers, 2nd Ngong Avenue, Nairobi to be received on or before date and time indicated Late submissions will be rejected.
