CONTRACT TITLE: TENDER FOR SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION AND TRAINING FOR DAIRY VALUE CHAIN EQUIPMENT
  1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDB online Ref.AfDB97-01 of January 26, 2018 on-line and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website.
  2. The Government of Kenya has received Financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of ENABLE Youth Kenya Program. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Supply, Delivery, Installation and Training for Dairy value chain training equipment.
  3. The Empowering Novel Agribusiness-Led Employment (Enable) Youth, Kenya Program now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the above Equipment as follows.

  1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of the Program Coordinator, ENABLE Youth Kenya Program, Kilimo House ASCU upper floor, P.O. Box 30028 – 00100 Nairobi. before the tender closing date within working hours from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays, except on public holidays.
  2. The bidding documents can be purchased or downloaded by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below. The document may also be downloaded FREE OF CHARGE from the Ministry’s website: www.kilimo.go.ke under “tender”links or obtain a hard copy of the tender doc­uments from ENABLE Youth Kenya Program office, after payment of a non-refundable fee of KES. 1,000.00 through Bankers Cheque/cash payable to the Principal Secretary, State Department for Crop Development and Agricultural Research at the Cash Office situated at Lower Floor, Kilimo House, Cathedral Road.
  3. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document: Procurement of Goods or Procurement of Works.
  4. Bids should be clearly marked “Tender for Supply, Delivery, Installation and Training for Tender No MOALF & C/EnAbLE/……….2020-2021 and deposited at State Department for Crop Development and Agricultural Research Tender Box, situated at the Ground Floor, Kilimo House, Cathedral Road or posted to:

Bulky bid documents that cannot fit in the tender box should be dropped at the Head: Supply Chain Management Office at Kilimo House, 4th Floor Room 4-2B on or before 11.00 am on 6th April, 2021.

  1. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 11.00am on 6th April, 2021 at the ASCU Conference Room, Kilimo House Upper Floor
