INVITATION FOR BIDS

SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF PIPES AND FITTINGS

  1. The County Government of Makueni through department of Water and Sanitation has allocated funds to Kibwezi-Makindu Water and Sanitation Company Ltd (KIMAWASCO) for-water pipeline extension and rehabilitation projects in Kikumbulyu North and South wards in Makindu Sub-county.
  2. Kibwezi-Makindu Water and Sanitation Company Ltd (KIMAWASCO) now invites sealed bids from eligible suppliers for the following;

  1. The following are Mandatory requirements that must be submitted together with the bid document
  • Certified copy of Certificate of Incorporation, Business Permit and a Valid Tax Compliance Certificate,
  • Firms Audited Accounts for the last two (2) years,
  • References on previous experiences for similar works

  1. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates upon payment of non-refundable fees (Kshs.1,000.00) through bank deposit to; (KIKUMBULYU NORTH WATER PROJECTS EQUITY BANK ACCOUNT: 1730279884551 FOR TENDER NO. KIMAWASC0/KN/01/2020-2021 AND KIKUMBULYU SOUTH WATER PROJECTS 1730279884522 FOR TENDER NO. KIMAWASCO/KS/02/2020-2021, KIBWEZI BRANCH), or download the tender documents free of charge from the Kibwezi-Makindu Water and Sanitation Company Ltd Website www.kimawas.com. Bidders who download the documents from the website MUST also forward their particulars immediately for records via email to kibwezi_mtitowaco@yahoo.com
  2. All bids must be accompanied with a 2% bid security in the form of an unconditional Bank guarantee
  3. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10.00am on 13th May, 2021 clearly marked ‘Supply and Delivery of Pipes and Fittings for Kikumbulyu North or South. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of all bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on 13th May, 2021 at 10.05am.
  4. Opening of bids will be in line with the PPRA Guidelines as stipulated in the circular no.02/2020 which can be accessed from their website www.ppra.go.ke
