KITALE NATIONAL POLYTECHNIC TENDER MAY 2025 

INVITATION TO TENDER 
THE PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES  

TENDER NO. KNP/OT/48/2024-2025/01  
The Kitale National Polytechnic invites sealed tenders from eligible candidates for
the provision of Security Services. The contract will be subject to annual Satisfactory
Performance review.
A complete set of tender document may be viewed and downloaded free of charge from
the Polytechnic’s website www.kitalenationalpolytechnic.ac.ke or www.tenders.go.ke.
Prices quoted should be inclusive of all taxes and must be in Kenya Shillings and
should remain valid for 150 days after date of tender opening. Tenders shall remain
valid for 150 days from the date of opening.
The tenderer shall furnish, as part of its tender, a tender security of Kshs. 80,000.
The tender security shall be in the form of a Guarantee issued by a Bank or
Insurance Company accredited by PPRA.
Bidders shall ensure serialization of all the pages for each bid submitted. Completed
tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, marked
TENDER NO. KNP/OT/48/2024-2025/01 FOR PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES and be
deposited in the tender box provided at The Kitale National Polytechnic administration
Block addressed to;

So as to be received on or before THURSDAY, 15th May, 2025 at 12:00 PM.
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the tenderers
representatives who choose to attend the opening at the Kitale National
Polytechnic.
KNP reserves the right to accept or reject any tender and may annul the tendering
process and reject all tenders at any time prior to contract award without thereby
incurring any liability to the affected tenderer or tenderers.
