INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF UTILITY PASSAGER VEHICLE 4X4 ,L.W.B 2700-3000 CC
INVITATION DATE: 15/06/2023
Embu County Government invites sealed tenders for the supply and delivery of the above mentioned
goods. The delivery point will be PROCUREMENT DEPARTMENT EMBU COUNTY.
1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National Tender) using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours [0900 hrs to 1600 hours] at the Procurement Office Embu
County Government or visit our official county website www.embu.go.ke
3. A complete set of tender documents may be viewed or obtained by interested tenderers from our
Website (www.embu.go.ke) or tenders portal: www.tenders.go.ke
4. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain
valid for one hundred and twenty (120) days from the date of opening of tenders.
5. This tender must be accompanied by a tender Security of Kenya shillings: One hundred and
Twenty thousand (Kshs. 340,000.00)
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
7. Tenders are required to STRICTLY respond manually and also submit a hard copy of the original
filled tender document (same as the one submitted in the suppliers portal) enclosed in a plain
sealed envelope marked with the tender name and tender negotiation number and deposited in
the tender box located next to Embu County Government Governor’s Office Reception Desk
on or before 22nd June, 2023 at 11.00 Am.

8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead
line date and times specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ or designated representatives who choose to attend. The opening will be conducted at the
Embu County Government Governor’s boardroom
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
