INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF LABORATORY CONSUMABLES
TENDER NO. KDB/G/109/2022/3
2. CONTRACT NAME AND DESCRIPTION; Supply of Laboratory Consumables
3. Kenya Dairy Board invites sealed tenders for the supply of Laboratory Reagents and
Consumables. Tenders will be awarded on basis of Framework Agreement.
4. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National using a standardized
tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
5. “Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more lots”.
6. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours from 0800hrs to 1700hrs at the address given below.
7. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon
payment of a non- refundable fees of KES 1,000 in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the
Kenya Dairy Board. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge Tender
documents obtained from Kenya Dairy Board website, www.kdb.go.ke the PPIP portal,
www.tenders.go.ke shall be free of charge.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by an Original tender security of Kenya Shillings 20,000.00; in form
of a Bank guarantee from a bank licensed and operating in Kenya, valid for thirty (30) days beyond
the validity of the tender (150 days) shall be submitted by prospective bidders. This shall be in the
format provided in the tender document. Tender Security from an Insurance Company shall NOT be
acceptable.
9. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
10. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before; Wednesday, 28th
September, 2022 at 11.00am (East Africa Time).

11. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above.
Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
12. Late tenders will be rejected.
