Interested Contractors who are registered in relevant trades and categories, (proof of registration required) may obtain Tender Documents from The Contracts Documentation Office, 4th Floor Room 412, Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development (State Department of Public Works) in person upon payment of non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1000/- is to be paid in cash to Account No.0-401-000-3520300 at the Cash Office before 4.00pm on normal working days or in banker’s cheque payable to The Principal Secretary, State Department for Public Works, Nairobi, or downloaded from State Department of Public Works website www.transport.go.ke and Treasury portal www.tenders.go.ke. Those who wish to download the documents must register at the State Department for Public Works Supply Chain Management Office at Public Works Building on 9th Floor Room 915 during office hours.
Tenders in plain sealed envelopes, marked tender number on the right hand side corner and bearing no indication of the tenderer should be addressed to: –

P.O. Box 30743-00100, Nairobi
and placed in the Tender Box on 5th Floor at the Works Building, Ngong Road, Nairobi so as to reach the above address on or before Tuesday, 8th December 2022 at 10.00am.
Submitted bids will be opened publicly in the Chief Quantity Surveyor’s Boardroom, 5th Floor Room 513 soon after the above stated closing date and time in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend. Late bids will be returned unopened.
Prices quoted must be inclusive of VAT and all Government Taxes and must remain valid for one hundred twenty
(126) days from the opening date of the tender.
The Government reserves the right to reject any tender giving reasons for the rejection and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
