INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER DOCUMENT FOR PROPOSED OFFICE ACCOMMODATION ON 14TH AND 15TH FLOORS
UCHUMI HOUSE (RESTRICTED TENDER)
TENDER NO. KFCB/RT/06/2022-2023
1. The Kenya Film Classification Board invites sealed tenders for the Proposed Office
Accommodation at 14th and 15th Floors Uchumi House Aga Khan Walk.
The scope of works is as follows
The PROPOSED works to be carried out under this contract involves;
1) Renovation of offices and
2) Equipping of mini theater.
The Construction Period Is 16 Weeks (4 Months)
The site of the proposed works is located at UCHUMI HOUSE 14TH & 15TH FLOOR.
2. Tendering will be conducted under restricted tendering method using a standardized tender
document.
Tendering is open to the selected and invitedTenderers only.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours [. 0900 to 1500 hours] at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenderers
electronically from the Website(s) www.kfcb.go.ke and www.ppip.go.ke. Tender
documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
(www.kfcb.go.ke and www.ppip.go.ke).
Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately
to kfcbprocurement@kfcb.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes.
Tenders shall remain valid for One Hundred and Twenty (120) days from the date of
opening of tenders.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of Kenya Shillings Two
Hundred and Fifty Thousand (Ksh. 250,000) (In Accordance with Section 61(2) (c)
of the PPAD Act 2015)
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
(Mandatory in Accordance with Section 74(1)(i) Of the PPAD Act 2015)
9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before [11.00am on 22
nd December 2022].
Electronic Tenders [will not] be permitted.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
dead line date and time specified later.
Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who
choose to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
