(EOI NO. MCG/008/2022/2023) FOR INSTALLATION OF A REVENUE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The County Government of Murang’a invites banks with capabilities to install and make operational a revenue management system. Interested banks will submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) giving a brief of their capabilities.
The objectives of this expression of interest is to shortlist eligible firms capable of installing and making operational a revenue management system for both structured and unstructured revenue channels.
- The scope of work includes but is not limited to:
- Installation and making operational revenue management system
- Training of systems users
- Provision of 24 hours per day user support
- Provision of critical end user devices such as POS where applicable
- Handholding the client until the system is fully functional and the user confidence is adequate for operating the system.
Additionally, the solution should at least provide for:
- a)Collection of revenue from both structured channels from all sub-counties of Murang’a County.
- b)Generation of relevant reports for revenue management and dashboards for real time monitoring of revenue collection.
- c)Electronic payments such as mobile money transfer and card payments.
- d)Reliability and availability in different locations at the same time.
- e)Resilience and security of transactions against cyber attacks
- f)Audit trails for system access and transactions
- g)Remittance of collections to the county at the basis of at most T+l
- h)Must have at least Two Branches within Murang’a County
- i)Must have an agency network of at least 150 agent outlets within Murang’a County
- j)Must have the capability to integrate with multiple channel revenue collection system with real-time validation and reconciliation of transactions
- k)Additional services on Payroll management and facilitation capabilities will be considered.
Interested bidders must attach copies of the following documents

- vi)Proof of registration with CBK
vii) Attach the copies of CVs and professional certificates of lead team.
Shortlisted candidates will be selected on the basis of the expression of interest submitted and invited to prepare Request for Proposal. Interested bidders should submit their bids in two copies clearly marked Original and Copy respectively.

The bids should be deposited in the tender box situated on the ground floor, Governor’s Office, so as to be received on or before 28th December, 2022 at 10.00 a.m. Bids will be opened thereafter in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
