TANA WATER WORKS DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (TWWDA) TENDER 2021 

Tana Water Works Development Agency (TWWDA), a Public Institution under the Ministry of Water Sanitation and Irrigation invites applications for Tenders and Pre-qualifications/Registration of Suppliers for FY 202′ -IIII – interested eligible bidders for the following:

8.             Eligible bidders may obtain hard copies of the tender documents from TWWDA’s Supply Chain Office during normal working hours Monday to Friday (8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.) upon payment of a non -refundable fee of Kshs.1000/-, Payable either through Account Name: TWWDA, Account No.1101998733 (KCB) or Mpesa Pay bill No 221599, Account No: Name of the Company bidding;
9.             Soft copies of a complete set of the tender documents and Pre-qualification documents containing all the requirements may be obtained bv interested candidates free of charge from Tana Water Works Development Agency (TWWDA);

      III.            The documents can also be downloaded from www.tanawsb.or.ke (or www.tanawwda.go.ke) or the TWWDA web­site www.tanawwda.go.ke or from the Public Procurement Information portal (PPIP): www.tenders.go.ke free of charge. Those who download the documents and intend to submit them are required to submit their official business contacts to Tana Water Works Development Agency for purposes of receiving further clarifications/or addendums if need arises;

10.             Interested bidders for the tender for Provision of Office Cleaning and Gardening Services, who may wish to visit the Cleaning and Gardening sites to ascertain the accurate scope of services can visit TWWDA offices located in Nyeri town from Monday 3^rd to Thursday 6^th May 2021 starting from 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. to be shown the scope; and are free to carry any necessary required tools to facilitate accurate measuring;
11.             Applications for Tenders and Pre-qualifications must be submitted enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with the Tender/Pre-qualification name and reference number and deposited in the tender box located on the ground floor, Tana Water Works Development Agency, P. O. Box 1292 – 10100 NYERI, Maji House, Baden Powell Road, ad­dressed to the Chief Executive Officer, so as to be received on or before Wednesday, 19t^h May, 2021 at 10.00 am;
12.             Candidates who wish to attend and witness the receiving and subsequent opening of the bids (after 7 days) are hereby requested to make formal application. Only fifteen (15) representatives from the interested bidders shall witness the receiving and sealing of the documents;

   VII.            The Bids upon receipt SHALL be sealed in the presence of the interested bidders who shall attend, treated and quaran­tined for seven (7) days to be opened on Thursday 27th May 2021 in the presence of the interested bidders who had witnessed the sealing;

 VIII.            Any bid/s received after the deadline indicated for receiving here above will be rejected;
