PROPOSED REHABILITATION OF MUNORU DAM FOR SMALL SCALE IRRIGATION 2022

KENYA CLIMATE SMART AGRICULTURE PROJECT (KCSAP)

OPEN TENDER (ONE ENVELOPE BIDDING PROCESS)

Interested eligible candidates may obtain the tender document from the Nyandarua County Website www.nyandarua.go.ke free of charge.

There shall be a mandatory pre-bid meeting at KCSAP Olkalou (Department of Agriculture) offices at 10:00 am before proceeding to respective proposed site at Munoru dam (36.4416948°E, -0.523263°N). The site visit will be held up to 2:00 pm and tenderers who attend will be issued a site visit certificate

Biddng will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines on Procurement of Goods, Works and Nan- Consulting Services of January 2011 (revised July 2014)

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security amounting to KES 500,000 (Kenya Shillings five hundred thousand only) from a CBK regulated Financial Institution.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 15th August 2022 at 10.00 am Late Bids will  be rejected. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter at the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries witnessed by tenderers representatives who may choose to attend.

Complete tender documents (Original and one copy), enclosed in plain sealed envelopes and clearly marked with tender name and tender number should be deposited in the tender box at the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries situated at the 01 Kalou Njabini road Junction and be addressed to
